Tiffany Chao
Strategist
Born in Boston, I was raised in California’s heavy agricultural Central Valley in a town that was intimate and charming during my youth, Modesto; coincidentally I now focus on land use and transportation strategy, aimed to remedy the many unintended consequences of sprawl. Thirteen years ago I moved to Los Angeles, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Mount St. Mary's College, and eventually completed a Master's degree in Public Policy and a Master's in Urban Planning at the University of Southern California. Prior to attending graduate school and joining pointC, I worked in clothing designing for a high-end baby's clothing line and later joined an interior design firm in Beverly Hills. Working in design sent me across the world, from Hong Kong and Morocco to Paris and London. For leisure, I enjoy reading, exploring our National Parks, and gardening. At pointC, I support strategy and analysis relating to transportation and environmental issues for our private and public sector clients.
